Core Beer

  • cream ale

    Refreshing and bright. A simple beer for all occasions. Full flavour with a thirst quenching low level bitterness and a crisp finish.

    Simple beer, made well.

  • little pine hazy ipa

    There’s a place between heavy and light, north and south, east and west. Little Pine.

    A session hazy IPA that balances full juicy hop character with restrained abv.

    Named for Little Pine Lagoon, the little body of water at Tassie’s mid.

    3.5% abv
    IBU: 25
    Hops: Simcoe, Citra, Idaho 7, & Amarillo.

  • pale ale

    Unfiltered and uncomplicated. A seriously sessionable Australian style pale ale with local hops, subtle tropical fruit character and a crisp refreshing finish.

    Crafted for mates.

    Hops: Tas Cascade, Galaxy, Vic Secret & Eclipse

  • hobart lager

    Local lager, brewed for Tasmanian conditions. A refreshing and disarmingly simple beer, cold conditioned for a satisfyingly clean and crisp finish.

    Hops: Hallertau Tradition

  • harbour master

    The Original. The Flagship. Unchanged since 2014. Tasmanian hops balanced by roasted malt. A contemporary beer informed by Tasmania's rich brewing history.

    Tasmanian Amber Ale.

  • skipper ipa

    IPA crafted to strike a balance of tropical fruit and pine. Brewed with hops from near (Bushy Park) and far (US).

    Far wind and following seas.

Limited Releases

  • bandit red ipa

    Each year, when the weather can’t decide to Spring up or Winter down, the brewer’s role out a banger of a Red IPA. This year is no exception.

    Big US style bitterness with a transpacific blend of hops. Some from New Norfolk. Some from Yakima. All of them dank and delicious.

    Hops: Citra, Eclipse, & Vic Secret

  • raspberry dark lager

    A German style dark lager base (Schwarzbier) with a fruity Tassie twist.

    Delicious roasted malt character with a refreshing clean finish and lifted raspberry zing that’ll keep for going back for more…. and more….

    4.8% abv
    Hops: Ella.
    Adjuncts: Raspberries, Raspberries, and Raspberries.

  • tascadian

    There’s a chill on the air and it tastes like Tascadian.

    A melting pot of dark decadent roasted malt and assertive hops, brewed annually and drunk quickly.

    6.4% abv
    IBU: 70
    Hops: Simcoe, Amarillo & Cascade.

  • tasmanian hazy pale ale

    juice willis hazy

    Juice Willis is a hazy style pale ale that’s pumped full of big juicy hop character. It’s the kind of beer you release when you’re not ready to give up on summer. The kind of beer that makes you feel like you’re on a tropical holiday, even when the wind is howling.

    Yippee-Ki-Yay

    5.2% abv
    Hops: Citra, Eclipse, Idaho 7 & Cascade.

  • captain black dry irish stout

    Pouring in the taproom on Nitro. Found in the wild on CO2.

    Named for Captain Black, the last Hobart Harbour Master, this is a stout for the people. Tasty. Uncomplicated.

    4% abv
    Hops: Chinook
    Malt: Black, Malted Oats & Ale.
